Unfortuately, this hotel lacks maintenance. The lock in my room was broken, as if it was a trendy feature, and the bathroom cleanliness was quite concerning, perhaps a new avant-garde style? I expected at least a room upgrade for my troubles, but instead, I got a standard treatment. Almost left a good review, but just couldn't.

The staff were cooperative and excellent, thanks to them everything was perfect. The location was excellent - just next door to hill and access to places, Tramway station near to bus station, and taksim with funicular. It also was ready to climb the mountain.

A guest room with bosphorus view has basic facilities you need. The staff are EXCELLENT CO-OPERATING and the location is particularly good to so many restaurants.

The hotel restaurant has a wonderful view.
The exchange rate that the hotel uses to convert euro was not fair. I noticed that they charge me 11 Euro more out of 550 Euros.

Nice overall experience. Great hotel located just next door to the Kabatas tramway station as well as the Buyukada ferry, Taksim and the cafes of Cihanger. Central location to Times Square. Polite staff and the room reasonably spacious with excellent housekeeping and comfortable beds and Bosphorus view.
Bustling area.

The manager was highly professional and helpful.
I was deeply disappointed by the outdated facilities. Noise from the bar kept me up at night, with drunk guests wandering the halls.

The only true advantage of this hotel is the location: Kabatas is a big transport junction where tram, busses and ferries come together.
During the whole stay (9 nights) I had a problem with the door lock for my room. The electronic card simply did not work and I every day I had to go down to reception desk to ask somebody to open my room !!! For breakfasts I learned to use a paper clip to shut the door without locking it. The hotel stuff promised me to fix it several times but haven't done anything !! In fact, they seemed to behave like nothing really happened as though this is a usual practice in the hotel.

Got very much what I expected. A clean room at the location that I needed, close to the Kabatas ferry terminal. The restaurant at the top of the hotel was convenient, as I was tired and not prepared to walk to the 7 minutes to Taksim square - the streets around the hotel are very steep. Impressive and relaxing view at the top, suprised by the good selection of music played in the restaurant.
Using the internet, which is advertised as free in the room, was a bit difficult as I could only reach lobby and top floor routers which meant uneven connections as interruptions. Breakfast rather poor and unexciting.

Recommend it for those who enjoy the view
The view was fine, like something out of a mobster's dream! Sitting in that rooftop restaurant, I seemed like I was on top of the world, looking down at the Bosphorus-made every climb worth it.
It definitely wasn't budget-friendly, but the experience had its own rewards.

Very clean, large room, near tram station and ferry port
Staff a little unapproachable, hidden away in a very hilly part of the city

Always cheap and good breakfasts.
Brand-new, extremely spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Particularly good location for visiting bars and restaurants.

The super nice team. Breakfast was a highlight with lots of cheeses and fresh honey. The terrace restaurant had fine views of the Bosporus, especially at night. Make sure to walk to Taksim Square and check out nearby cafes. Just be prepared for the uphill trek back!
The hotel is on a steep hill, so it might be tough for those with mobility issues. Just a heads-up !

Great reception service!
Stayed for three nights and Yakup at reception was a superstar! He really hooked us up with local tips and good places to check out. The breakfast had a decent spread to kickstart the day, but the steep street made it tough for my friend with mobility issues. It had its quirks!
